These house rules apply to every stay at The Quartz Place, 48 Kennington Road, Waterloo, London SE1 7BL — whether booked directly through this website or via Airbnb. They're here so every guest enjoys the same quiet, well-kept building we'd want to stay in ourselves.
If your plans change, let us know as early as possible using the contact form or your booking channel's messaging — we'll always try to accommodate a shifted arrival where the apartment's schedule allows.
Only guests named on the booking may stay overnight. Suite 1 is licensed for up to 5 guests; Suites 2, 3 and 4 for up to 6. Exceeding the stated occupancy without prior agreement may result in the booking being cancelled without refund.
This is a residential building shared with permanent neighbours, so we ask all guests to keep noise reasonable, particularly between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Smoking (including vaping) is not permitted anywhere inside the apartments or communal areas. A deep-cleaning charge will apply if evidence of smoking is found after checkout.
Guests are responsible for the apartment and its contents during their stay. Please report any accidental damage as soon as it happens — most things can be resolved quickly and reasonably when we know about them straight away. Damage beyond fair wear and tear may be charged via the booking channel's standard damage process.
Please don't share access codes or keys beyond the guests named on the booking, and make sure the apartment is properly secured whenever it's left unoccupied.
